SUN ICE Beverages has introduced a ready-to-drink cocktail product named SUN ICE, which in its first month on the market has achieved over 1,000 cases sold. The company maintains that this interest is driven by the product’s combination of strong alcohol content and affordability.
Each SUN ICE cocktail contains 10% alcohol by volume and is intended to provide roughly three separate cocktail servings when poured over ice into a rocks glass. This brings the cost per drink down to approximately two dollars. The brand’s pricing strategy positions the product as a budget-friendly alternative to bar cocktails, traditional hard seltzers, and other premixed canned beverages, many of which offer lower alcohol percentages or higher per-serving costs.
